Pasco County has researched the natural and technological hazards that
threaten the County.  An assessment of the hazards was conducted as part
of the
Local Mitigation Strategy process to determine the type of impact that
would be experienced by these individual hazards. The hazards identified
included,
hurricanes, flooding, tropical storms, forest/wildfires, hazardous
materials incidents, tornadoes, lightning strikes, air crashes and nuclear
power plant incidents.
